Tensions are growing between Tinder and Google. Google asked permission to kick the dating app from the Play Store.
The company’s CEO halted hiring in the second half of 2022 over concerns about the “uncertain global economic outlook.” According to the leaked information, the general opinion within the company is “work better or you will go”. On the other hand, Google is not the first company to choose this path.
Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, earlier this month called economic concerns “one of Meta’s worst declines in recent history” and warned top executives to “detect poorly performing employees”.
Google applies the same shrinking policy to Meta. Zuckerberg stated that he gave his employees more difficult and aggressive goals in the past weeks. He added that he would part ways with employees who do not comply with these targets. Tesla follows a similar policy. The workers seem to have a hard time in the face of these expectations of the companies.
