To this end, the company created a unit about 10 years ago where people could get feedback on problems. Now Google is reorganizing this system in an award-winning way.

Google announced the Vulnerability Reward Program (VRP), in which it will reward those who detect a vulnerability in one of its core application and service pack applications. Within this program, a user can win a prize of up to 30 thousand dollars. The reward scale is divided into some tiers.

The rewards program is divided into 3 tiers. The first tier only includes rewards for people who report the vulnerability in Google Play Services, Google Cloud, Google Chrome, Gmail, Chrome Remote Desktop and Google app. If you discover a vulnerability in this layer and report it to Google, you will receive a $30,000 reward.

In the second layer, it covers a vulnerability that can be discovered in the operation of first-party applications running in sync with the above-mentioned applications. The reward in this tier is $25,000. The third tier includes applications that do not interact with Google services or process user data in any way.

Of course, there are degrees of rewards in these tiers. The above-mentioned rewards will be available when a serious vulnerability is discovered. In other words, discovering a third-layer cyberattack will earn you a maximum of $500.
