Electronics and computer e-shop Newegg has finally added the Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a means of payment, the company announced on Thursday:
We now accept SHIB. When paying using a computer, simply choose BitPay as your payment. Shop with SHIB.
Online retail giant Newegg has officially confirmed that it will add its meme coin, Shiba Inu (SHIB), to its group of supported cryptocurrencies in late November. The new addition was advertised on the world’s largest digital out-of-home billboard in Los Angeles, California.
Earlier today, BitPay announced that it has enabled SHIB payments for supported traders, providing strong support for cryptocurrency adoption. In addition, movie giant AMC is on track to add SHIB payments in the first quarter of 2022.
Shiba Inu remains the 13th largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $18.8 billion at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data. After hitting an all-time high of $0.00008845 on October 28, SHIB price started to decline and is currently trading at $0.00003469, down 61% from its ATH.
