Giant Whales Chasing These 7 Altcoins: They’re Accumulating Quietly!

As the Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC) and general crypto markets swayed, the biggest ETH investors diversified their altcoin stacks with 7 popular altcoins.

A metaverse coin airdropped to members of the BAYC community by Tuga Labs, creator of the Bored Ape non-fungible token (NFT), according to data from popular whale watching platform WhaleStats. Apecoin (APE)excluding ETH and stablecoins at the time of writing, has taken its place as the most bought altcoin among the largest Ethereum whales.

As previously reported by KoinFinans, APE was also trading as the most traded token yesterday. According to WhaleStats, the top 100 Ethereum whales have an average of 13,826 APE per wallet in their wallets, with a purchase price of $172,216.

Loopring hits whales’ radar again

SHIB purchases continue

One of the favorite coins of ETH whales since the end of last year. Shiba Inu (SHIB) continues to face heavy purchases. According to a recent report by WhaleStats, the massive Ethereum whale named “BlueWhale0073” has accumulated 83.43 billion SHIB, worth a total of $1.67M, in three separate transactions in the last 24 hours. However, the whale preferred to transfer these Shiba Inu assets to the mystery wallet rather than keep them.

The data shows that BlueWhale0073 initially purchased 4,318,320,742 (74.31B) SHIBs worth $1.49 million.

In addition, Etherscan.io data shows that after this transaction, the giant wallet made two more “Purchases” and added 9,119,916,985 (9.11 billion) more SHIBs worth $183,120 to its portfolio.
