Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a notched design
As you know, Apple used the notch design for the first time in the iPhone X model, which it showcased in 2017. The company, which started a new trend in the sector at that time, played a major role in other manufacturers’ inclination towards this design.
However, after a certain period of time, the use of notches in the sector decreased significantly. Instead, different technologies such as perforated screens, pop-up and under-screen cameras have been used.
However, Apple never gave up on the design in question despite criticism from its users. The notch design appeared in the iPhone 13 series, which was introduced in September, and even in the new MacBook Pro models. In fact, this decision of the company became a laughing stock among its competitors at one point.
A recent claim has revealed that Samsung, which is seen as one of Apple’s biggest rivals, will prefer the notched design in the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet. Although this claim may seem illogical considering the company’s attitude to the notch design at first, this was largely confirmed after an image shared by Ice Universe, which is known for its reliable leaks in the industry.
At the same time, Ice Universe announced that the tablet will come with a total of two front cameras, one of which is an ultra-wide-angle camera. On the other hand, he stated that the wide-angle camera can record 4K 60 FPS video and the notch that is planned to be used will not be as big as Apple’s MacBook Pro models introduced last month.
