We come across many people who have been wandering around looking at their phones for a long time and have been caught in the Pokémon frenzy. In this article, we examine Pokémon Go, adapted from the legendary cartoon series of our childhood years, where you can have fun while walking and become a Pokémon Master.
Although many cartoons/movies have been released over the years, none of the nineties children could replace Pokémon. Pokémon Go, which caused great madness in July 2016 and still remains on the agenda, was presented to the players.
Pokémon Go, which even appeared on television and did not fall on the news, has been talked about for a long time as it integrates AR technology into the game. As a Pokémon GO player who started the game again both when it was released and today, I would like to tell you what I encountered.
What did I experience when I restarted Pokémon GO, which is now completely in Turkish?
First of all, the thing that excited me the most was that the game now has full Turkish language support. After I entered the game, Professor Willow appeared again and we had a little chat. Since I opened a new account, I customized my character in detail and now I was completely ready.
In the first moments of my Pokémon training, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle appeared. In the game that asked me to choose one of the fire, water or grass Pokémon, I chose Charmander in the hope of developing it to Charizard in the future. After throwing my Poké Ball, I was now ready to fight my new companion.
When I clicked on the map again, Sudowoodo appeared and I caught my other comrade as well. Even at the beginning of the game, I can say that the Turkish language support that comes to Pokémon Go is really satisfying. Improvements over the past years as I love the gameplay and especially the excitement of exploring, definitely worth restarting the game had made it.
In the following days, when I entered the game again, I realized that I had more communication with my Pokémon and the part where the powers were simplified. Also now Information I need to improve my Pokémon clearer. Thus, I had the opportunity to realize the maximum level that my Pokémon can reach.
After researching this situation a little Catching a Pokémon with 3 stars and a pink frame but in my early days in the game such a thing was not possible and I needed to spend more time in the game. For this, I had to collect Candy. That’s why I took Sudoowoodo with me as a friend. So I could scoop up more sugar. My advice to beginners 🙂
When it became Turkish, the Events gained meaning and the real fun side of the game emerged:
It is almost impossible to get bored while playing the game. After the Turkish language support of Pokémon GO, the accompanying activities made the game much more enjoyable. What excited me the most when I first heard about these events Pokémon that will appear for the first time it happened. You’re constantly checking Pokémon Go’s website and social media accounts for these activities.
When you were wondering what the next event will be, which Pokémon will appear in the next event, you got stuck in the game. In addition, the Pokémon that we can find in different environments change according to the seasons. I really have to say that; there is no exit from this game! It’s obvious that I’ll keep looking for Pokémon with my phone in hand everywhere I go all year. I haven’t made it yet, but I hope I can catch one of the Shiny Pokémon that show up at the events.
Next generation AR mode:
The augmented reality mode works really well, where you can feed your Pokémon, pet them, or tease them a little. You can also use this mod while catching Pokémon. Although this mod drains your battery a little faster, I loved seeing a Pokémon sitting in my house.
If you are using your phone as wired like me, you will carry a Powerbank with you while playing the game. In other words, our phone’s battery is already running out one way or another. That’s why I’m playing with AR mode on At least if I’m going to run out of battery, let it be for a better cause. Otherwise, even if I scroll twice on Instagram, it will be over anyway.
What are the pros of Pokémon GO?
As someone who last played Pokémon GO in 2016, one of the things that surprised me the most when I returned to the game were the starred Pokémon. Unfortunately, I haven’t come across a three-star Pokémon yet, but I’ll keep catching Sudoowoodo.
I do not want to go without saying that, especially the battle visuals of the game and the improvements made in the AR mode have made the gameplay of the game much more enjoyable. Again, as I said, some Pokémon appear exclusively in events, while others come with ‘special features’ at these events. This sets new goals for people like me who might get bored of looking for the same Pokémon after a while. Of course, new stories and missions do not allow you to get bored of the game.
When I was little, I loved Team Rocket very much in the cartoon series. For this reason, I was very happy to meet Team Rocket at Pokéstops in Pokémon Go and to see that iconic balloon of Team Rocket floating in the game. You may remember that Team Rocket was trying to kidnap Pikachu in the cartoon, and they were unsuccessful every time. This situation is handled in a different way in the game. Team Rocket is collecting whatever they find this time and smuggling many different Pokémon.
We can save these Pokémon from Team Rocket by spending some stardust. Perhaps the only minus we can talk about about the game is that we have to walk. If you are someone who hates walking in summer/winter like me, the game will most likely either get you into the habit of walking or make you wait for hours in your seat. Regardless, if you’re a true Pokémon fan, you’ll definitely love this game, especially in its current form.
