It’s the climate activists’ grandchildren’s trick!
A group of self-proclaimed climate savers (including “Fridays for Future”) encourages young people to write letters to their grandparents in order to manipulate their voting decisions.
Here’s how: On a website, children and young people should write letters to grandpa and grandma from pre-formulated text modules that are dripping with fear of the climate and panic about the future.
The goal: You should vote for a party “that advocates a strong climate policy”. Even if the initiators assert that the campaign is “non-partisan”, one thing is absolutely clear: what is wanted is a vote for the Greens.

The grandparents are being blackmailed emotionally. “I would like to stay in Germany and stay with you nearby. But I’m afraid that it won’t be so easy, ”said a letter.
Means: Grandparents can only prevent their grandchildren from moving away if they have the supposedly correct voice.

According to the website, 8915 letters have been sent so far.
The “Grandchildren Letters” campaign is supported, among other things. by actress Annette Frier (47) and TV presenter Joko Winterscheidt (42). Green politicians Renate Künast (65) or Michael Kellner (44) celebrated them online.
CDU politician Christoph de Vries (46), on the other hand, was stunned in BILD: “This political instrumentalization of children and young people with loud horror scenarios is repulsive and irresponsible.”
