Dusseldorf Raids in top law firms are extremely rare. At Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer it’s different. A Freshfields spokesman said: “In connection with ongoing investigations into share transactions over the dividend date, the Cologne Public Prosecutor’s Office has asked us to hand over documents to our Frankfurt office. The search was concluded and the law firm itself was not involved in the proceedings. The law firm cooperates with the public prosecutor’s office “in compliance with their confidentiality obligations and relevant court decisions.”
