Fortnite will bring the characters and world of the hit animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender to the game, proving once again that Fortnite is at the center of pop culture. This collaboration, announced in a post on Twitter, excited Fortnite fans, and the entry of the Avatar universe into the Fortnite world was met with great interest.
Avatar: The Last Airbender characters in Fortnite
The in-game store will feature costumes and accessories for some of the main characters of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Interestingly, it was stated that Aang, the main character of the series, will not be available for purchase immediately. Instead, Aang was said to be added to the game as part of an event crossover at a later date.
In addition to main characters such as Katara, Toph and Zuko, the lead character of Avatar: The Legend of Korra will also be a part of the game. Players will be able to access the costumes of these characters by purchasing them.
In addition to special costume packages for these new characters, Epic Games will also offer in-game events and missions. These events will offer players opportunities to earn rewards and dive deeper into the Avatar universe. Also expect special events featuring legendary scenes and moments from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The first event, Avatar: Elements, will start on April 12. Fortnite continues to offer new and exciting content to its players by collaborating with many different movies, TV series and music artists lately.
