According to the statement made by Asus, the new foldable laptop computer will be introduced on August 31 at 15.00 Turkish time. The new laptop stands out as the second foldable screen laptop after Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Fold introduced in 2020.

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED has a 17-inch display when flat. When folded, this value drops to 12.5 inches, while the rest of the screen can be seen as a keyboard or in different ways. OLED displays, which stand out in terms of quality and durability, will probably be offered as standard on all products in this category. We also see these screens on foldable phones.
If we move away from the screen and look at the technical specifications of the laptop; We see that the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED will come with an Intel Core i7-1250U processor, 16GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 4 ports and WiFi 6E. It is also possible to experience a larger screen with an external keyboard on the foldable screen computer.
There is no information about the price of the new laptop model yet. However, we can already say that the new model will not be cheap. It is worth remembering that the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold with a 13.3-inch screen has a price tag of 50 thousand TL.
As Asus is preparing to introduce its new foldable screen laptop model, other brands have started to take steps in this regard. Samsung also introduced its product called Flex Note at CES 2022. Again, there has been no development about the laptop, which has a 17-inch screen.
Another brand that wants to produce a foldable laptop is Apple. According to the information received, the company is working on a 20-inch laptop with a 4K resolution foldable screen. However, it is stated that we will be able to meet this computer only after 2026.
