“We would like to inform you that we will begin listing the new cryptocurrency SHIB from November 30, 2022,” BitPoint Japan said in a statement.

However, according to the stock market’s statement, thanks to this latest development, the Shiba Inu will enter the Japanese market for the first time. Exchanges in the country are known for imposing stricter rules on which cryptocurrencies to list than other regions.

At the time of this writing, BitPoint did not specify which SHIB trading pairs will be available when the token is officially listed.

According to Crunchbase, BitPoint Japan launched on March 3, 2016 and is currently one of the top exchanges in the country. Besides operating in Japan, BitPoint also operates in Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Latin America.

BitPoint has announced campaigns to celebrate the upcoming Shiba Inu listing. The exchange said that it will reward new users with 1 million SHIB tokens (approximately $9k) if they open an account on the platform from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022.

BitPoint Japan has also added a social media campaign to celebrate the listing of SHIB tokens. The campaign period will run from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022. During the campaign, Twitter users who follow BitPoint’s account, retweet and like the campaign tweet will be selected from the list of winners.

BitPoint will reward one user with 100 million SHIB here, while 11 other users will share 11.11 million Shiba Inu tokens.
