First Turkish ship to be added to Muavenet World of Warships

Wargaming, the publisher and developer of the world-famous naval MMO game World of Warships, has included the Muavenet destroyer in the game. The addition of the Turkish ship to the game will be followed by the addition of the content of the first Turkish commander voiced by the famous actor Murat Serezli.

Turkish actor community chose Murat Serezli for the voiceover

Available in-game from May 24 in Early Access, the Turkish destroyer Muavenet marks the start of a new series of Pan-European destroyers. The ship in the game is based on the real destroyer Muavenet, which served in the Turkish Navy from 1946 to 1960, starting with rank V. In the 12.6 update on July 19, when this new series will be fully released, the first Turkish commander will also join the game.

This new addon, which is offered for free, will be voiced by the famous actor and director Murat Serezli. Serezli, who has been an incorruptible computer and console player and collector for 40 years, was chosen by the Turkish community of World of Warships to perform in their own language.

Turkish players will now enjoy Turkish voiceovers

World of Warships Regional Editorial Director Christian Bergmann said that Turkey is one of the most important Mediterranean markets for World of Warships and as a thank you to the community, the team wanted to give them a culturally meaningful gift.

“Murat Serezli is one of Turkey’s biggest actors and it is exciting that he will be voicing a commander in the play. There is no better feeling than hearing your own language while playing a global game, and our Turkish community will be able to do just that with this addition. Players will be able to hear Murat’s instructions in Turkish.”
