Berlin In view of the worsening energy crisis, the federal government is putting together new crisis aid for companies. The federal government wants to strengthen the possibilities of the state development bank KfW to secure guarantees and liquidity support for energy companies. It is about credit authorizations in the amount of around 67 billion euros, the Handelsblatt learned from government circles.

The Federal Ministry of Finance intends to use credit authorizations that have already been created for the Corona rescue fund WSF for KfW. “This strengthens KfW’s refinancing and expands the bank’s options for providing stabilization aid for energy suppliers,” it said.
