TRLG missile features with a range of 150 km!
Defense Industry President İsmail Demir said in a statement today that TRLG missiles have been moved to the next level in terms of their characteristics. Here, it was noteworthy that he said that the high-precision TRLG missiles with laser marking with a range of 150 km were ready for service.
The biggest reason for this is that the TRG and TRLG missiles developed by Roketsan can reach the highest range of 90 km in the past period. Of course, this data is actually valid for TRG-300 Block-II. The effective range was extended up to 120 km with Blok-III, which emerged with the developments in the later period.
The step that ends foreign dependency in Atmaca missile!
Kale’s KTJ 3200 turbojet engine will be integrated into the Atmaca missile, which was developed with domestic resources, and external dependency will be eliminated.
As we understand from the statement made today, a similar development process continues across the entire TRLG family. Of course, not all of them will have a range of 150 km. Because in line with the need, production and design are made according to many factors such as high sensitivity, explosive power, cost, acceleration and cruise speed.
An example of this is Hurricane missiles. The effective range of Kasırga, which reached 120 km with Blok-I, was reduced to 90 km with Blok-II. However, its effective radius has been increased from 70 meters to 80 meters. Similarly, the warhead it carries has been increased from 105 kg to 190 kg. In other words, although the effective range has been shortened, the explosive charge has been increased by close to 90 percent.
In addition, İsmail Demir said that Atmaca, Bora and Yıldırım missiles are ready for service. Of course, it is known that some of them are already in inventory. The Bora missile has a range of close to 300 km. Lightning missile consists of 3+1 blocks.
There are 3 different versions of the Yıldırım missile with a range of 300, 600 and 900 km. Of course, although they belong to the same series, their effective range, explosive charge, engines used and speeds vary. In addition, we know that Blok-IV with a range of 2,500 km is also under development.
