The Dax fell on Friday by around 1.75 percent to 15,099 points, the EuroStoxx50 fell by 1.31 percent to 4086 points.

The mood on Wall Street also remained tense at the end of last week. The technology-heavy Nasdaq advanced 1.6 percent to 14,098 points. The broad S&P 500 gained 0.5 percent to 4,500 points. The Dow Jones index of standard values, on the other hand, lost 0.1 percent to 35,089 points.
