Continuing to work on the factory to be established in the Gemlik district of Bursa, TOGG recently announced that they have rolled up their sleeves for the C-segment Sedan model.
According to the news of Hürriyet, TOGG Senior Manager Gürcan Karakaş, who made important statements at the International Automotive Engineering Conference (IAEC) held in the digital environment, stated that the rules of the game and customer expectations have changed in the mobility ecosystem, and also made remarkable statements about the company’s future plans.
Expressing that TOGG was established in 2018 as a result of a 15-year project and the facilities began to be prepared to be ready for mass production towards the end of 2022, Karakaş stated that they plan to present C-segment SUV vehicles to the whole world in the first quarter of 2023.
In addition, as a result of their research, Karakaş underlined that they determined that TOGG should show up in the sector with four to six models, and stated that they determined five models in the first place because they are new in this field. In this direction, work began on the C-segment Sedan model without wasting time.
As it will be remembered, the car in question was showcased together with the C-Segment SUV, which is currently under development, at an event held in 2019. Even the design of the vehicle at that time was highly appreciated.
While there is no clear statement regarding the release date of the C-Sedan vehicle at the moment, with the start of mass production towards the end of 2022, serious steps will be taken by TOGG regarding other models as well as the car in question.
