Exciting Data Has Arrived for the Shiba Inu Network: Here are the Details!

New data, highly anticipated new layer-2 scaling solution from Shiba Inu (SHIB) shibarium ‘s testnet reveals that over a million transactions have already been made through Puppynet.

Blockchain According to its browser, Blockscout, there have been 1,076,331 transactions over Shibarium’s testnet since it was released in beta form last week.

Shibarium will be the new layer-2 protocol of the Shiba Inu ecosystem built on Ethereum (ETH), similar to Polygon (MATIC). Puppynet is Shibarium’s testnet before the mainnet was launched.

Blockscout also found that there are over 200,000 unique crypto wallet addresses currently using Shibarium.

Before, shiba inu‘s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, said that Shibarium’s ultimate goal is to process transactions in just seconds for less than a penny. The project’s development team believes that the protocol has achieved the goal of “true decentralization.”

Currently, testnet’s average block time is 7.7 seconds, while gas charges are just 1.5 Gwei, less than a penny.

While no specific launch date has been announced, blockchain analytics platform IntoTheBlock has found that around 70% of SHIB’s total supply is currently held by long-term holders awaiting Shibarium’s mainnet launch.
