Elon Musk Temporarily Closes Twitter Spaces

Twitter removed the Spaces feature after Elon Musk joined a chat room that included a journalist banned from Twitter. Musk stated that the feature will come back tomorrow.

Elon Muskcontinues to be at the top of the agenda with what it did after purchasing Twitter. The famous businessman, who says he constantly defends freedom of expression, has been making moves that contradict this recently. Today, Musk suspended the accounts of journalists from giant media companies such as CNN, The Washington Post, Mashable, The New York Times. This move drew reaction from the European Union and the United Nations.

Owner of Twitter, live chat feature of the platform in the past hours of Spaces joined a room. Some journalists were present here, including Drew Harrell, the Washington Post journalist who was banned from the platform. While saying that he continues to support freedom of expression in his speech, Musk said that he can also throw journalists who share information about himself that he does not like. When it was over, he left the room. Afterwards, there was an improvement in the Spaces feature.
