World-renowned economist and former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal talked about the future of CBDCs (digital currencies issued within the central bank).
Pal, currently CEO of Real Vision, is on the future of digital currencies (CBDC). Ripple (XRP) announced that he believes the network will play a very important role.
“Ripple has an interesting narrative about its past. Ripple is a very important project, even if the lawsuit turns out to be negative for XRP. I don’t think there is another project that is so serious about money transmission. Ripple has a deep connection with governments and central banks in many parts of the world. Making these connections takes a lot of effort.”
Pal stated that for these reasons, XRP does not have only a speculative value. Pal also thinks that if the world moves towards an order based on CBDCs in the future, the value of XRP will increase exponentially.
“It looks like digital currencies will exist in the future of the world order. With that in mind, XRP will have a very important place in our future.”
XRP is actually a project that is in the center of attention of many crypto investors. After the rise in April 2021, investors were not able to get the return they wanted from XRP.
The lawsuit between XRP and the SEC has been going on for years. There was talk of the imminent end of the case many times, but this did not happen.
