The Osmo Mobile 6 also has a technology called DJI ActiveTrack, which allows stable tracking for longer distances and allows the phone’s front camera to rotate and track objects. DJI ActiveTrack is also available on some of the company’s drone models.
Another new feature is the Quick Launch feature for iPhone. As long as there’s an iPhone connected to the device, the DJI Mimo app can instantly take a camera view when the gimbal is turned on. DJI claims it can drastically reduce setup times and get it ready to take pictures three times faster than its models.
Osmo Mobile 6 can provide angles between -161.64 degrees and 173.79 degrees in Pan mode, and between -120.30 degrees and 211.97 degrees in Roll mode. However, in tilt mode, it is possible to shoot at an angle between -101.64 degrees and 78.55 degrees.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 model has a 1,000 mAh Li-Po 2S battery with Type-C input. Thanks to the 10W fast charging technology, users can charge the device in 1 hour and 24 minutes. The battery life of the device is stated as an average of 6 hours.
The device has dimensions of 189 mm × 84.5 mm × 44 mm when folded and 276 mm × 111.5 mm × 99 mm when unfolded. The weight of Osmo Mobile 6 is 309 grams.
