Disney+ has started the countdown for its Turkey launch with its content archive consisting of more than 1000 movies, over 400 TV series and 170 original productions. Starting June 14, members will have access to the highly anticipated series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” alongside Star Wars content “The Book of Boba Fett” and “The Mandalorian” with both seasons.
Disney+ will also be the home of the Skywalker legend, with all Star Wars movies from episodes 1 to 9. At launch, superhero fans will enjoy more than 50 titles including Oscar Award-nominated “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Links”, “Eternals”, “Avengers: Endgame”, “Captain Marvel”, “Black Widow”, “Hawkeye” and more. Marvel movie and “Ms. Marvel”, “Loki” and “WandaVision” will have the opportunity to access more than 40 Marvel series.

On top of all that, members will be able to enjoy the full “Toy Story” series from Disney and Pixar, as well as two Oscar® winners “Soul”, Academy Award® nominee “Luke” and more than 100 productions from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The Oscar®-winning “Enkanto: The Magical World” from Walt Disney Animation Studios, where the extraordinary story of the Madrigal family is told, and the Oscar®-winning “Cruella” movies, in which Emma Stone plays the legendary “Cruella de Vil,” can also be watched on the platform.
National Geographic documentaries such as “The Great Save” and “Free Solo” by famous Oscar®-winning documentary directors and producers E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, “The Mysterious World of Whales” produced by James Cameron, as well as “Jeff Goldblum’s World” and “Off Route with Gordon Ramsay” will appear alongside popular National Geographic series.
In general entertainment, Disney+’s highly anticipated first Turkish original series “Escape” starring the popular actor Engin Akyürek, and the new original series “Pam & Tommy”, “How I Met Your Father”, “The Dropout” and “The Dropout”. The Kardashians”, the legendary series “The Simpsons”, “The Walking Dead”, “American Horror Story” and “Grey’s Anatomy” as well as all seasons of cult TV shows such as “How I Met Your Mother”, “Lost” and “Desperate Housewifes” and new box office movies such as “Free Guy” and “The King’s Man” will be accessible.
With unprecedented access to Disney’s archive, hit classics like “Cinderella”, “Tangled”, “The Frog Prince” and “The Little Mermaid” along with recent blockbusters like “Raya and the Last Dragon” and “Mulan (2020)” movies will also be on the platform. In addition, hundreds of Disney Channel cartoons, original movies, and specials, including “Miracle: Ladybug and the Cat Noir” and “Fineas and Ferb,” will be available to Disney+ members at launch.
Disney+ is offered at an 8-month price for those who want to become an annual member by taking advantage of a special 279.90 TL annual meeting package. Viewers wishing to seize the special offer offer must sign up before June 14 and complete their purchase by June 26, 2022. Members will thus enjoy Disney+ for 12 months for the price of 8 months. Disney+, which will start broadcasting in Turkey on June 14, 2022, has determined its standard pricing as 34.99 TL per month or 349.90 TL per year.
Users will have high image quality, up to four simultaneous broadcasts, unlimited downloads on up to ten devices, watching selected content with IMAX Enhanced technology, and creating up to seven different profiles. Disney+ also offers a child-friendly interface that allows accessing only age-appropriate content with Child Profiles that parents can easily create.
