Jason Citron, CEO and founder of the popular communication program Discord, shared a screenshot that excited the crypto community, implying that the Discord application will connect to Ethereum in his latest tweet.

The screenshot also shows the option to connect using the Ethereum wallet MetaMask and the off-chain wallet connector WalletConnect.
In the review, there is no link related to this subject in Discord’s application yet.
In this context, it was claimed that the Discord CEO’s post is the official pre-release version of a recent update of the application.
While there is no official statement on the subject yet, Chinese journalist Colin Wu said, “Discord announced that it will connect to the Ethereum network. However, the current gas price is very high, which is very unsuitable for daily use,” he commented.
The Discord app is popular with the crypto community, allowing users to chat, talk, and video conference while also setting up private servers, chat rooms, and the like.
