DIGIIATHON 2022 Started with the ‘Digital Turkey’ Theme

The DIGIATHON 2022 event organized by the Presidency Digital Transformation Office has started. At the event, participants will work on developing and presenting ideas for our country’s digital services with blockchain technology.

In today’s world, we see the term blockchain everywhere and we witness that it has started to integrate into different areas. Presidential Digital Transformation Office, organized by at the first hackathon event It has focused on blockchain technology.

In the competition sponsored by big companies from Turkey 24 teams will work on blockchain for a long time, both freelance and with mentors. Let’s take a look at the details of the competition, whose name has been determined as DIGIIATHON 2022.

The theme at DIGIATHON 2022 is ‘Digital Turkey services’

In the competition, which is sponsored by Türksat, TOGG and Avalanche and will last for 30 hours, the contestants will work with mentors from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and work independently from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The theme of the competition has been determined as Digital Turkey services. The main purpose is to develop and move our country’s digital services forward with blockchain technology. In this context, competing teams will develop and offer services that are used or can be used. There is a prize at the end of the competition.

The awards given to the top 3 winners of the competition are as follows:

  1. $10,000 worth of AVAX + Togg test drive + participation in 2023 Avalanche summit with Togg
  2. AVAX worth $5,000 + participation in the 2023 Avalanche summit with Togg
  3. $2,500 worth of AVAX

In addition to the awards, the top 3 teams will be given a letter of intent for blockchain-based business development with Togg, a whitecard will be given to the winning team for one of the Avalanche events, and the top 3 teams will be given the right to participate in the ‘Blockchain Expo World’ Istanbul event free of charge. Final presentations will begin at 15:00 on Sunday, November 13 at the DIGIATHON 2022 event.
