Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty follows the rise of the legendary Lakers during the 1980s, with season 1 ending on a high note after they win the 1979–1980 season. Season 2 will see the rivalry between the Lakers and Boston Celtics get more intense as each team vies for the championship trophy, with Larry Bird and Magic Johnson at the center of it.
