GLASTO is at risk of being completely ruined as rain and thunderstorms hit the legendary festival, report the Met Office.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for today as thunder and lightning will batter much of the UK.
Even festival goers attending Glastonbury could be affected, as the show falls within the bounds of the warning.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said: “The only thing that we have to be aware of is there is, an albeit small but not tiny, risk of some intense thundery downpours, particularly tomorrow.
“Chances of Glastonbury itself actually getting hit by one is very small. So hopefully they stay fine.
“The warning talks of the risk of 40 to 60 millimetres of rain falling in just a few hours, large hail, frequent lightning, that kind of thing.
“So it could be quite damaging. But the risk is very small of it actually hitting the Glastonbury site.”

Brian Gaze of The Weather Outlook said some models suggest scorching 32C sunshine in central and eastern England on Thursday.
There are “some blow torch runs” in summertime forecasts which “definitely needs watching”.
Another four heatwaves have been predicted by the time the season ends, with temperatures reaching “well into the high 30s”.

Eight DAYS of rain on the way
The stunning June heatwave will fizzle out as eight days of storms lash the country from today – but balmy heat will return soon.
Brits have basked in glorious sunshine this week, with the mercury rocketing to a sweltering 28C as revellers enjoyed their first Glastonbury Festival since 2019.
But the Met Office has now warned of flooding at Worthy Farm as torrential downpours threaten the fun.
A new weather warning for thunderstorms is in place from Edinburgh in Scotland to Wakefield in West Yorkshire between 1pm and 10pm today.
And temperatures will plunge as the weekend begins.
Chief forecaster Paul Gundersen said the weather “will return to near normal for the time of year”, with highs of just 20C by the weekend.
“The unsettled pattern is expected to continue to dominate into the start of next week,” he said.
His colleague Alex Deakin said low pressure will be the “dominant feature” of the weekend.
“If you’re not a fan of the warmth and humidity, then there’s good news, because this cold front is going to sweep away all that and introduce much fresher air,” he said.

Flight cancellations and airport chaos are ruining foreign holidays for thousands of Brits this summer.
However, holidaymakers don’t have to go abroad in order to soak up the sun.
Some recent research has revealed the best places to visit in the UK in order to avoid the rain, as well as the travel disruption.
The list, produced by Evans Halshaw, was created after analysing weather data for over 1,000 popular UK holiday destinations, in order to work out where has the most hours of sunlight.
The analysis considered the weather during April, July and October.
Coming out in joint top spot, with an average of 194 hours of 16C sun per month, were Bognor Regis in Sussex and Folkestone in Kent.
The two seaside towns are statistically the sunniest in the country, according to the research.

Yellow thunderstorm warning for the north
The Met Office have issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for the majority of the north.
The warning lasts from now until 10pm this evening.
The Met Office have said: “While many places in the warning area will remain dry, heavy showers and thunderstorms will develop today, becoming most frequent from mid-afternoon and lasting into the evening in places.
“Where these occur they are likely to produce some locally torrential rain with 20-30 mm possible in one or two hours, and will likely be accompanied by hail in a few places.”

Scotland hit with 3 separate flooding events
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has issued 3 flood alerts due to heavy thunderstorms.
The alerts are for Edinburgh & Lothians, Dumfries & Galloway, as well the Scottish Borders.
This comes as much of the north has been hit with a yellow weather warning, with the region bracing for heavy rain and thunderstorms.
