MRS HINCH fans have come to the rescue of a woman who was left stumped after accidentally ruining her daughter’s kitchen sink.
Taking to social media, the woman posted a photo of the sink in question, where viewers could see dark marks and fingerprints along the sides.

In the caption, she explained that she “messed up” and had tried everything to get the stains off but hadn’t been able to.
Pleading with cleaning whizzes on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, she asked for help.
“I’ve messed up my daughter’s newish sink by cleaning something else with harpic black,” she wrote with a shocked emoji.
“I’ve tried lots of things to get it off, any tips? Tia”.
People were quick to comment on the post as many shared their tips and tricks on how to remove the stains for good.
Several people suggested using Viakal to get it off, while some were convinced Wd40 would do the trick.
Some also thought The Pink Stuff paste would get it off no problem, so long as she used a non-scratch scourer alongside it.
But others had another idea as one person wrote: “Once you have cleaned it rub some baby oil on it and wipe it off with a paper towel to make it shine”.
Another chimed: “Try baby oil, why use toilet cleaner to clean a sink, If the baby oil doesn’t work you will have to buy a new sink”
While a third said: “Baby oil? X,” as many other said the same.
Baby oil, luckily, can be found very cheap in stores like Boots, where bottles are sold for as little as £1.50.
In the end, however, the woman went with the suggestion of using The Pink Stuff, which worked wonders.
