Dusseldorf Hans-Toni Junius is not deterred by the growing criticism of China – and wants to continue investing. The state is “an attractive location,” says the managing partner of the Hagen metal processing company Waelzholz. China will also “remain one of the most important growth areas in the next ten years”.

Waelzholz has been producing near Shanghai since 2014, and the plant was expanded in 2020. Soon, customers in other Asian countries will also be supplied from there. In Asia, Waelzholz generates 13 percent of its turnover, which is currently one billion euros.
