In his statement, the Minister stated that the second hand market is currently stagnating. He stated that the measures taken on the subject bore fruit and automobile sales decreased. He also stated that there was an increase of 75 percent in automotive imports compared to the previous year and that there was an increase of 11 billion dollars compared to the same period of the previous year. In addition to his statement, he stated that they are determined to fight against exorbitant price increases and stockpiling, that they continue their field inspections without interruption, and that a total of 198.2 million TL fines were imposed on 1920 businesses that made excessive price increases or stockpiling.
