Dax shows strength – The three scenarios of the ongoing consolidation

Dusseldorf The German stock market is recovering somewhat from the losses of the previous day. The Dax rose by 0.2 percent to 14,413 points in the first hour of trading. On Monday there was a minus of 1.1 percent with a final score of 14,383 points.

With today’s start, the leading German index is showing strength after the weak trading day on the US stock exchanges. The major indices on Wall Street each fell about 1.5 percent. Accordingly, the Dax slipped to 14,338 points in the after-hours trading.

The protests in China, which presumably gave rise to profit-taking yesterday, Monday, are no longer an issue this Tuesday. Stock market indices in mainland China and Hong Kong are up between 2% and 4%.
