Dusseldorf The year-end rally continues on the German stock market. In the first hour of trading, the German benchmark index was trading at 16,090 points, unchanged from the previous day’s close. But with today’s daily high of 16,117 points, the leading index marked a new record high. The previous record from yesterday Thursday was 16,114 positions.

So far, it has been a pleasant week on the stock market – at least for those who have bet on rising prices. There were a total of three new record highs and so far there is much to suggest that the previous records are just a stopover.

The chances are good that the Dax will reach the 16,200 point mark in the next week. The new sentiment data should then provide clues as to whether the German benchmark index can climb any further this year. So far, investor sentiment has signaled that the rally will continue and that investors should not be realizing any profits at the moment. However, newcomers should no longer expect such high profits.
