Dax loses 0.3 percent in the afternoon – VW shares under pressure after Diesel judgment

Dusseldorf On the first day of the European central bank conference, investors in the German stock market are reluctant to buy. On Tuesday afternoon, the leading index Dax recorded slight losses at 15,795 points. It even falls below the mark of 15,800 points, which it has been able to defend since the beginning of June.

The Dax continues to fail to break out of the current series of losses, which has been going on for six trading days. Since the beginning of the year, there have not been so many trading days on which the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Barometer closed in the red in a row.

Also on Monday, the Dax went out of trading with a minus of 0.1 percent at 15,813 points. Jochen Stanzl from online broker CMC Markets comments that there is not much time left for the stock market to break out before the summer break catches up.
