Dax is struggling to find impulses

Dusseldorf Investors on the German stock market are looking for new orientation these days. The Dax moves sideways – also on Wednesday. The leading index remained just under 14,000 points in the first hour of trading.

On Tuesday, the Dax had gained 0.4 percent. The trading range — the difference between the day’s high and low — was just 100 points.

As expected, trading volumes are extremely low these days. On Tuesday, a total of only 23 million pieces changed hands. This value is still far below the average for the period between Christmas 2021 and the following turn of the year (approx. 30 million).
