Dax is increasing – the end of the four-week sideways phase is imminent

Dusseldorf Since mid-November, the leading German index has been trending sideways. But with today’s trading day, an end to this phase is likely to be prepared. More specifically, that should happen at 2:30 p.m. Central European Time when the US inflation data is released.

But initially things are quiet on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The Dax is up 0.3 percent in the morning at 14,347 points, the daily high is 14,388 points. Compared to the significant price increases on the US stock exchanges, however, the plus is small. The Dow Jones index rose by more than 500 points or 1.6 percent on Monday. The Dax lost 0.5 percent and ended at 14,307 points.
