Dax falls slightly – export figures weigh on the market

Frankfurt On Tuesday, the Dax fell by 0.1 percent to 16,060 points at lunchtime. The daily winners include Vonovia with a plus of three percent, as well as Adidas and Deutsche Börse, each with a little more than one percent plus. On the losing side, Mercedes-Benz, MTU Aero Engines and Heidelberg Materials stand out with discounts of one and a half to almost two percent.

The German stock market received little impetus from new economic data on Tuesday. An exception are the German export figures for May, which were published early in the morning. Exports fell surprisingly, which can be taken as another sign of a poorly performing economy.

The specifications from the Asian markets were ambiguous. While the Japanese Nikkei index lost around one percent, stock market prices in China and Hong Kong rose slightly.
