Dusseldorf The leading German index should start the new trading week full of hope: On Monday morning, the Dax was listed at around 16,000 points on off-exchange trading platforms.
Investors were still holding back on Friday. At the end of the day, the Dax was down 0.3 percent at 15,950 points and thus remained just below the psychologically important mark of 16,000 points.
Investors on Wall Street also remained cautious on Friday in view of the upcoming interest rate decisions: the most important indices rose only slightly.
On Monday there are only a few appointments in the calendar: The appointment negotiations between Deutsche Bahn and the railway workers’ union EVG are to be continued and in Hamburg the first civil lawsuit against Biontech for alleged vaccination damage begins. In addition, the Swiss UBS wants to complete the takeover of the ailing Credit Suisse.
