Dax course currently: Dax is slightly

Dusseldorf The German stock market is stabilizing after the US inflation shock. The Dax only fell by 0.3 percent in the morning and was trading at 13,145 points. The index was already trading at 13,064 points before the market opened.

On Tuesday, the leading index closed 1.6 percent lower at 13,189 points and was thus in the immediate vicinity of the daily low. Shortly before the inflation data, the stock market barometer was still at 13,564 points.

The Dax has been doing well so far on today’s trading day. Because the US stock exchanges slipped further after the market closed in this country. The inflation data gave Wall Street its highest daily loss since June 2020. The Dow Jones index was down more than 1000 points at the end of trading and closed almost four percent lower. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index lost 5.5 percent.
