Dax closes in the black and ends a series of losses – water damage weighs on Salzgitter shares

Dusseldorf On the first day of the European central bank conference, investors in the German stock market were initially unwilling to buy. On Tuesday, the leading index Dax continued its loss series for a long time. In the meantime, the stock market barometer has even fallen below the 15,800 point mark, which it has been able to defend since the beginning of June.

In the afternoon, however, positive US economic data improved investor sentiment. The Dax followed Wall Street into the plus and was 0.2 percent higher at 15,842 points at the end of trading.

The Dax has thus initially interrupted its series of losses, which has lasted for six trading days. Since the beginning of the year, there have not been so many trading days on which the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Barometer closed in the red in a row.
