Dusseldorf In the German stock market, many investors are apparently counting on an end to the consolidation soon. The Dax closed one percent up on Wednesday at 15,506 points. Yesterday, Tuesday, the leading index climbed 1.4 percent and went out of trading with 15,348 points. This was preceded by a 2.3 percent crash on Monday.

One reason for the further price increase on Wednesday: The situation around the Chinese real estate group Evergrande has initially calmed down. There were no major fluctuations on the Chinese mainland stock exchanges, which reopened after a two-day autumn break. On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the share rose by more than 40 percent with a comparatively high trading volume on Wednesday.
