Cryptocurrency Company Announces And Warns They Are Under Hack Attack!

The Discord server of Sui blockchain developer Mysten Labs has been hacked, according to a post by the company.

Fake Airdrop Links Published From The Official Discord Account Of The Crypto Money Company

The company warned people not to click on any links posted on the server in the eight hours before the Twitter post, adding that the team is working to resolve the issue:

“Our Discord server has been hacked. Please do not click on any links posted in the last 8 hours. Our team is working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

An unconfirmed screenshot shared on Twitter showed the hackers posting a supposed airdrop link on the announcement channel on the server.

At the time of this writing, Mysten Labs had not released any other updates.

Hacked Mysten Labs Was Created By Four Engineers Who Formerly Left Facebook

Mysten Labs, Meta’s cryptocurrency is a web3 infrastructure initiative founded by Evan Cheng, Sam Blackshear, Adeniyi Abiodun and George Danezis, four ex-engineers from Novi. They previously worked on Diem Blockchain and the Move programming language.

High-profile investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Coinbase Ventures support the company. The company raised $36 million in December and said it expects a $2 billion valuation in July.

The number of attacks on blockchain and crypto money companies has increased recently.
