Crypto Expert Lawyer: Ripple Will Win SEC Case!

Lawyer, founder of crypto law firm Cryptolaw John Deatonreiterated his belief that Ripple will win the SEC case at the end of the day.

Community, Ripple (XRP) with the American Securities and Exchange Commission SEC predicts that the litigation, which has been going on for years, is nearing the end. Ripple chief legal officer Stuart Alderoty is preparing to make an attempt to take the case to the supreme court.

Aldetory pointed out that the SEC lost 4 of its 5 cases that went to the higher court in a statement it made to the press recently. Based on this situation, attorney John Deaton is confident that Ripple will have a major victory over the SEC whenever it happens.

Deaton stated that Ripple’s legal officer, as well as the intent of the upper court, is very strong in the summary of the decision the company submitted to the court.

Ripple’s Small Victory

Although Ripple, the issuer of the XRP token, did not win a decisive victory in the lawsuit, it did take the advantage in the intermediate issues. The crypto startup, which submitted a previous opinion paper on Ethereum prepared by SEC executive William Hinman to the court, led to Hinman’s dismissal.

In a document he prepared in the past, Hinman had expressed the view that Ethereum should not be considered as securities.
