Crypto Adoption Index Released! Turkey Ranks Which?

The most recognizable crypto market on-chain from data analysis companies chainalysispublished a new data.

Company, “Global Crypto Acceptance Index” In its new report, which is titled, it has listed the countries that are most adaptable to cryptocurrencies. The first 20 countries were included in the list.

Chainalysis determined the country rankings based on these factors:

• Cryptocurrencies purchased on exchanges depending on the purchasing power of the countries per capita,
• The volume of use of DeFi protocols by citizens, depending on per capita income,
• Internet usage rates in the country depending on national income.

According to the Chainalysis 2022 Global Crypto Acceptance Index, Vietnam cryptocurrencies was the most accepted country. Vietnam is followed by the Philippines, Ukraine, India and the United States, respectively.

4th place is India; placed first in the centralized service, retail service and DeFi categories.

Our country Turkey It ranked 12th in the index.

Developing Countries Take Attention!

Chainalysis also made other implications aside from the crypto index. According to the firm, developing countries accept cryptocurrencies more easily. According to the World Bank data of the top 20 countries in the index;

• 10 countries to the lower-middle income group,
• 8 countries are in the upper-middle income group,
• 2 countries were determined to be included in the upper income group.

A chart about the general acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the world was shared and the following words were included:

“While community acceptance of cryptocurrencies has declined in bear markets, a new peak is seen with each subsequent bull season. Investors, who were included in the market with increases in 2020 and 2021, still continue to exist in this area.”
