On Wednesday morning, politicians from the SPD, Greens and FDP presented their Corona plan for the winter. And it has it all!
The “epidemic situation of national scope”, the previous legal basis for serious corona measures, is to expire on November 24, 2021 and not be extended.
That means: tough measures such as closings of companies and schools, curfews and contact restrictions may NO longer be imposed!
And the traffic light wants to go on even further. In future, the federal states should not be allowed to impose these strict measures independently after the epidemic emergency has expired.
The traffic light paper states that the possibility of “declaring the Knallhart rules to be applicable at the state level by the respective Landtag” will be deleted.
Means: lockdown ban for the countries!
Nevertheless, some measures should still be allowed to be imposed. Specifically, the traffic light paper mentions the mask requirement, 3G rules, hygiene concepts, distance rules (especially indoors) and corona requirements for community facilities such as schools and universities.
Spicy: The plan of Health Minister Jens Spahn (41, CDU) to change the Infection Protection Act so that even serious measures can be imposed without an epidemic situation, the traffic light with its Corona paper rejected.
