ConsenSys Begins Public Test for “Knowledge Zero” ETH Network

Blockchain technology company ConsenSysin a statement Ethereum announced that it will begin public testing of its compatible zk-EVM (Zero Knowledge-Ethereum Virtual Machine) network at the end of March.

The Zero Knowledge network will prioritize Ethereum’s security and perform off-chain computations on a secondary network for faster and less costly transfer transactions. ConsenSys officials stated that more than 490,000 transactions were carried out without any problems during the closed beta test.

Following the public test announcement, the development team made the following statement:

“Our zkEVM tool made its way into company history as the culmination of years of R&D work by ConsenSys developers. With the project we have tested, precise, fast and efficient Ethereum transfers will be possible.”

Developed by ConsenSys zkEVM The tool is expected to integrate with crypto tools such as MetaMask, Infura, and Truffle.

What is zkEVM?

zkEVM, which stands for Zero Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine in Turkish, is considered the most advanced of the layer-2 solutions. Although the developers are working hard in this area, there is no project that has been beta tested yet.

Another crypto project alongside ConsenSys polygon also wants to launch the beta phase of its zkEVM solution at the end of March.
