Dusseldorf Germany’s second largest private real estate group, LEG Immobilien, is in favor of restricting the gas supply to German tenants much more than before in the coming winter. “I believe that in the current war situation, the population in Germany must be made aware that renunciation is now the order of the day,” said CEO Lars von Lackum to the Handelsblatt. “And that will be a renunciation of heat – you have to say that politically.”

The landlords need a legal way for the winter to be able to lower the temperatures more than before. “Politics must now decide this quickly,” stressed von Lackum.
