London Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson knowingly misled Parliament over the “Partygate” affair, according to an investigative report. The report, released Thursday, said Johnson’s actions constituted a flagrant violation and warranted a 90-day suspension from Parliament.

Johnson had already received the results of the parliamentary committee of inquiry into the “Partygate affair” into violations of lockdown rules during the corona pandemic and resigned his mandate as a member of parliament last week. He justified this by announcing that he would be sanctioned for misleading Parliament.
