The government has only had one job at Corona for ten months: vaccinating.
Because it wasn’t lockdowns, school closings or curfews that reduced serious illnesses and deaths. It was the vaccine.
That is why it is simply outrageous that Germany is in the process of messing up the campaign for the third vaccination.
Last year the government failed to order enough vaccine in time to vaccinate seniors through the winter.
Now we have the vaccine and enough seniors willing to vaccinate – but the vaccination campaign is stalling.
Why don’t we reopen the vaccination centers immediately? Where is the advertising wave for the third spade? Why doesn’t everyone over 70 receive an invitation to vaccinate immediately?
Tens of thousands of retirement home residents died last winter because the state failed to vaccinate and protect them.
Politicians must prevent a second Corona death winter!
