Geely and Baidu officially introduced the Jiyue 07 electric car in China. The design of the model is quite striking. The car received the iF Design Award 2023 and was the Red Dot 2023 car design winner. While the car is based on Geely company’s SEA architecture, it also includes autonomous driving technology from Baidu.
Looking at the feature side, Jiyue 07 is based on the Jidu Robo-02 concept. The model, which acts as a mid-sized liftback, has a wide wheel design and a low belt line. The vehicle has five-spoke wheels with aerodynamic covers and a wide panoramic roof.

In terms of powertrain, it is similar to the previous model of the series, the Jiyue 01 SUV. The standard version includes a single 200 kW e-motor and a 71.4 kWh LFP battery. Additionally, the car offers a 4WD specification of 400 kW and a 100 kWh NMC package.
The autonomous driving system of the model is carried out by cameras and radars. We should point out that there are no modern LiDAR sensors in automobile hardware. Finally, the model will start to be sold in China towards the middle of 2024. There is no information about the global market yet.
