Vestel CEO Ergün Güler held an important meeting to provide information about their new subsidiary, Vestel Mobility. Güler shared his plans to produce products in the field of mobility, such as components and charging stations for electric cars, domestically and nationally by Vestel. It was stated that with this new initiative, Vestel aims to continue its success as a white goods and TV manufacturer in the automotive industry.
At the meeting, Güler focused on the rise of electric vehicles and how Vestel Mobility will adapt to this change. Regarding the rise of electric vehicle manufacturers against traditional vehicle manufacturers, he emphasized that electric vehicle companies are developing rapidly and that this change has led to a major paradigm shift in the industry.
He stated that Vestel’s strategy is to focus on the production of important interior components rather than producing cars. He stated that they especially focused on the production of battery technology and electric vehicle charging stations. He also said that Vestel Mobility is working to meet the demand for electric vehicle charging stations in Turkey and abroad.
At the meeting, Vestel’s domestic production and R&D activities were emphasized. Güler stated that the technologies developed by Vestel for electric vehicles are in demand by vehicle manufacturers in Turkey and around the world. He also pointed out that Vestel is also working on energy storage systems and battery technologies.
Finally, it was emphasized that Vestel Mobility aims to grow rapidly and become one of the leading mobility companies in Turkey and the world.
