In this context Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) prepared by Charging Service Regulationpublished in the Official Gazette dated April 2, 2022.
Those who want to open a charging station in the next period must obtain a charging network operator license. This license, granted by EMRA, cannot be transferred in any way. In order to have this license, the conditions set by EMRA must be fulfilled and an application must be submitted with the documents.

While the charging network operator license can be granted for a maximum of 49 years, the license may be extended upon the request of the owner, with a maximum period of time. Businesses that have obtained the license must establish a network of at least 50 charging units and charging stations in at least 5 different districts within 6 months.
With at least 5 percent of the charging units in the charging network general Directorate of HighwaysIt has become mandatory that at least 50 percent of the charging units located on highways and state roads, which are under the responsibility of , must be DC 50 kW and above charging units.
In order to meet the electricity need of the charging station, an electricity generation facility based on renewable energy sources can be established within the scope of the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Production in the Electricity Market published in the Official Gazette dated 12/5/2019 and numbered 30772.
