Charging case for AirPods Pro is changing!

With the decision taken by the European Parliament, Apple will now have to offer Type-C connectivity on iPhone models. Apple, which has started to use Type-C connection in various devices for a while, will now have to adopt this situation in smartphone models with the iPhone 15, which will be introduced in September.

AirPods Pro are also switching to USB Type-C

Adopting the Type-C connection on almost all of its devices, Apple’s AirPods Pro will now switch to the Type-C connection. According to a report by Mark Gurman, Apple will launch AirPods Pro models with a charging case with USB-C connection with the launch of the iPhone 15 series this fall.

Considering that Apple will launch iPhone models with Type-C connection in September, we can say that this step is quite appropriate. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also stated in a post in March that Apple will launch the second-generation AirPods Pro with a charging case that offers USB-C connectivity later this year.

Nokia and Apple joined forces!

Nokia and Apple joined forces!

Nokia and Apple have signed a new long-term patent agreement. The two companies, which were sued in 2017, reached an agreement on 5G technology.

It is stated that no other hardware changes are planned for the second generation AirPods Pro. On the other hand, on the software side, it is stated that Apple has developed a new hearing test feature for AirPods designed to detect possible hearing problems. This feature, which will be offered with iOS 17, will be able to determine how well users’ ears can hear.

It is also among the information that Apple wants to develop additional health sensors for the next generation AirPods models. It is aimed to make more accurate measurements by transferring the body temperature measurement feature offered in the company’s smart watch models to headphones. Apple is also making plans to offer AirPods as hearing aids.

While Apple continues to implement the rules brought by the European parliament by offering Type-C connection, it aims to make headphone models more useful. So what do you think about AirPods Pro? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
